She was predeceased by: her parents, Jones McArthur Trivette and Judy Carleen Kincaid; her son Gary Ray Whisnant Jr.; her brother Johnny Trivette; and her grandparents, Arlie, Evon Trivette, Henry and Johnsie Kincaid Caudill.
She is survived by: her children, Heather Kirby (Jonathan) of Lenoir and Paul Whisnant (Brittany) of Lenoir; her brothers, Dale Trivette of Wilkes County, Jimmy Trivette of Lenoir and Joie Trivette of Lenoir; her aunts and uncles, Thelma Penley (Emmitt) of Lenoir, Iva Dean Penley of Lenoir, Sylvia Williams of Hudson, Linda Eggers of Hudson, Debbie Hass of Hudson, Junior Trivette (Pat) of Lenoir, Ralph Trivette (Carolyn) of Lenoir, Earl Trivette (Ada) of Lenoir and Danny Caudill of Lenoir; her grandchildren, Keaton Kirby, Brody Kirby, Ian Whisnant, Conner McCrary, Canyon Whisnant and Cecila Whisnant; and the father of her children Gary Ray Whisnant Sr. of Hudson.
Due to COVID-19 a celebration of life will be held at a later date.
