She was predeceased by: her parents, William McKinley and Myrtle Beane Lefevers; her husband James V. Walsh; her daughter Brenda Chambers; and her siblings, Charles, William Lefevers, Mary Day, Helen Correll and Joan Craig.
She is survived by: her daughter Nancy Smith (Gerald) of Rutherford College; her grandchildren, Connie Franklin (Doug) of Lenoir, Julie Byrd (Andy) of Hickory and Lee Chambers (Angie) of Hickory; her great grandchildren, Andrew Franklin (Haleigh) of Rutherford College, Garrett Byrd of Granite Falls and Ansley Byrd of Hickory; and her son-in-law William Chambers of Hickory.
A funeral service will be held on Sunday, February 2nd 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Chapel of Pendry's Lenoir Funeral Home (522 Wilkesboro Blvd NE, Lenoir, NC 28645).
