She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Rudolph Maki and Hilda Niemi Maki; her children, Linda Steele of Lenoir and Thomas Lynn Steele (Sharen) of Lenoir; her grandchildren, Mark Edmisten (Ellen) of Newton, Kris Edmisten of Lenoir and Lynsey Steele Baker (Ike) of Lenoir; her great grandchildren, Madeline Edmisten, Savannah Edmisten, Bryson Edmisten and Eden Baker; and her friend Ronny Pitts of Lenoir.
Due to COVID-19 graveside services will be private.
