She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Howell and Zora Sanders Howell; her husband Fred Monroe Cresson; and her daughters, Marie Holden and Teresa Cresson.
She is survived by: her children, William Eugene Cresson, Christine Hodge of Lenoir, NC. and Wanda Holder of Lenoir, NC.. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren; 18 great grandchildren and 4 great great grandchildren.
