He was predeceased by: his father Jackie Kenneth Woods. He is survived by: his mother Debra Hicks Woods; his wife Keesha Phillips Woods; his children, Dominiq Helton of Lenoir, Xavier Helton, Zoe M. Woods of Lenoir, Chloe Helton and Stephanie Shatley; his brothers, Jesse Woods (April) of Lenoir and Dr. Joel Woods (Angela Petracca) of Greensboro; his nephews, Preston Shell and Iseral Hendrix; and his niece Adrienne Woods.

Due to COVID-19 the family will have private services.

In lieu of flowers the family respectfully requests memorial contributions be made to Green Mountain Baptist Church PO Box 162, Patterson, NC 28661 or Clearview Baptist Church, 2455 Alfred Hartley Road, Lenoir, NC 28645.
