He was predeceased by: his parents, Rufus Henry and Edna Abernathy Wilson. He is survived by: his wife Jennie Austin Wilson; his daughters, Lauren Wilson Lawler (Rob) of Raleigh and Lisa Wilson Adams of Lenoir; his granddaughter Lindsay Austin Adams of Lenoir; and his siblings-in-law, Belar Austin of Lenoir and Carol Taylor of Newton.
Due to COVID-19 a private memorial service will be held.
