She was predeceased by: her parents, Samuel S. Edmisten, Sr. and Lavada Clark Edmisten; her brother Sammie Edmisten; and her nephew Gregory Crisp. She is survived by: her sisters, Dana E. Storie, Melinda E. Crisp and Renae E. Munday (Joe); and her sister-in-law Teresa L. Edmisten.
