He was predeceased by: his parents, John Allen Turner and Alda Minton Turner; and his sister Betty Kapp. He is survived by: his wife Jeanette Campbell Turner; his children, Cynthia "Cindy" Smith (James "Ike" Smith) and John C. Turner (Amy); and his grandsons, Ethan Turner (Allie), Aaron Turner (Lauren Huffman) and Turner Smith. He is also survived by nieces and nephews and special friends.
