He was predeceased by: his parents, Quincy Adam Brown and Vergie Green Brown; his wife Linda Bowman Brown; and his sister Myrtle Jean Brown. He is survived by: his children, Johnna Walker (Randy Woody), Rodney Ray Brown (Patrice) of Lenoir and Ricky Joe Brown (Shanna Hennessee) of Lenoir; his sister Virginia Kirby of Lenoir; and his nephew Jonathan Kirby (Heather) of Lenoir. He is also survived by six grandchildren; three great grandchildren.
