With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Johnnie Dale Rhames of Lenoir, North Carolina, born in Florence, South Carolina, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on September 15, 2024 at the age of 70. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Johnnie Rhames and Lessie Mae Poston Rhames; his wife Jewel Rhames; and his siblings, Michael Rhames and Patricia Rhames.
He is survived by: his children, William Friesland (Summer), Shawn Friesland (April) and Valerie Corley (Todd); his grandchildren, Kendall Helton (Cameron), Lucas Corley, Johnathon Jordan, Hailey Friesland and Hayden Friesland; his great grandchild Liam Helton; his nephew Keith Rhames; and his great-niece Yuni Rhames.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Amorem Hospice in Hudson.
