With heavy hearts, we announce the death of John Wayne Chester of Lenoir, North Carolina, who passed away on August 5, 2021 at the age of 73. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John B. Chester and Grace Snyder Chester; and his sister Bobbie Jo Harbison. He is survived by: his wife Loretta Norris Chester; his children, Michael Chester (Brandy) of Banner Elk, Kelly Everhart of Lenoir and Megan Chester; his grandchildren, Cole Chester (Megan) of Banner Elk, Lucas Chester of Lenoir, Levi Everhart of Lenoir and Abigail Chester of Banner Elk; and his great grandchildren, Ashton Anderson, Bexley-Rae Whisnant and Tatum Jane Chester.
