He is survived by: his wife Lynda Owings Reary; his children, Lara Reary Ayers (Charles) of Lenoir and Jon Reary (Amanda) of Grand Haven, MI; his siblings, Bobby Reary of Winston Salem, Norma Craig of Winston Salem, Marlene Benfield of Blacksburg, VA and Patricia Blakely of Cary; and his grandchildren, Matthew Cannon of Lenoir, Savannah Ayers of Pinehurst, Bradie Reary of Rockford, MI, Charlize Ayers of Lenoir and Gracie Reary of Grand Haven, MI.. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews.
