He was predeceased by: his parents, Charlie R. Williams and Paralee Price Williams; and his siblings, Charlie Junior, Roy Williams and Ella Mae Keener.
He is survived by: his wife Dorothy "Annette" Craig Williams; his children, John C. Williams, Jr. (Jennifer) of Lenoir, David W. Williams and Mary-Jane Noland (Kenneth) of Wilkesboro; his siblings, Gene Williams of Lumberton, Toy Williams (Mary) of Lenoir, Jim Williams (Rosemary) of Lenoir, Martha Hendrix (Raymond) of Lenoir and Marnell Howell (Robert) of Lenoir; his grandchildren, Jonathan Williams (Chelsea) of Wilkesboro, Katlynn Noland of Wilkesboro and Stephanie Noland of Wilkesboro; and his stepgrandchildren, Alisha Hamby (Lee) of Wilkesboro, Christa McCoy (Seth) of Lenoir, Josh of Lenoir, Sam of Lenoir and Daniel Bennett of Lenoir. He is also survived by seven step great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
