It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Breaks Scroggin (Lenoir, North Carolina), born in San Antonio, Texas, who passed away on September 16, 2021, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Guy Thomas and Caroline Johnson Scroggin; his wife Jean Carlisle Scroggin; and his brothers, Guy T. Scroggin, Dennis Scroggin and Floyd Scroggin.
He is survived by: his children, John Scroggin, Jr. of Lenoir, Bruce Scroggin (Juanita) of Amite, Michael D. Scroggin (Jennifer) of Florida and Nancy S. Boelter; and his grandchildren, Rachel Dibben (Nathan), Evan Boelter, Sean Boelter, Zachary Scroggin and Nicholas Scroggin.
Due to COVID-19 masks and social distancing will be required.
