She was predeceased by: her grandparents, J. C., Elaine Parsons and J. D. McGuire. She is survived by: her sisters, Katie Bruce and Liz Bruce; her daughter Olivia Bruce; her significant other Scottie Barlow; her grandmother Joyce McGuire; and also, Scott of Lenoir and Pam Barlow of Lenoir.
In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to Refuge Missionary Baptist Church, 375 Mount Herman Road, Hudson, NC 28638.
