He was predeceased by: his sister Tina Harmon. He is survived by: his wife Sandra Foster Gantt; his son Donald James Gantt (Anissa Austin Gantt); his grandchildren, Elizabeth Gantt Annas (Jeff Annas) and Noah James Gantt (Maddie Gantt); his great grandchild Charlotte Reese Annas; his siblings, Connie Miller and Jack Gantt; and his nephews, Mark Miller, Dwyane Miller and David Gantt.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, February 22nd 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Greer-McElveen Funeral Home and Crematory (725 Wilkesboro Blvd NE, Lenoir, NC 28645).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Wounded Warrior Project.
