He is survived by: his mother Nancy James Poarch Reid; his siblings, Sheila Poarch Reid (Allen) of Granite Falls, Tony Scott Poarch (Adelyn) of Hudson, Barry Dean Poarch of Lenoir and Tim Reid (Mary) of Granite Falls; and his niece Markie Shaw. He is also survived by nieces and nephews also great nieces and nephews.
