He was predeceased by: his parents, Cloyd Curtis and Jessie Curtis; his former wife Patsy Gragg Curtis; his daughters, Neta "Sissy" Brinkley and April Curtis; and his siblings, Cloyd Curtis Jr., Larry Curtis, Harry Curtis, Earl Curtis, Tommy Curtis, Dorothy Craig, Martha "Mag" Craig and Jessie "Allene" Hartley.
He is survived by: his wife Joyce Miller Curtis; his sons, Harold Curtis (Melissa) and Bobby Curtis; his brother Clarence Curtis (Betty); his grandchildren, Derek Brinkley (Alison), Chris Brinkley (Ashley) and Jessica Curtis-Yount (Michael); his great grandchildren, Madison, Ryan Brinkley, Jackson, Mason, Trenton, Lynleigh Brinkley, Adalyn and Connor Yount; his stepchildren, Maria Wilson Helton (Jeff) and Eric Wilson (Laurie); and also Emma Wilson Currin (Daniel).
