He was predeceased by: his parent Jerry Benge, Sr.; his grandmothers, Virginia Pope and Juanita Williams; and his siblings, Tammy Benge and Scott Benge.
He is survived by: his mother Clara Austin (David); his siblings, Joseph Hicks (Brenda), Jessica Benge, Amanda Benge and Jerry Benge, Jr. (Carrie); and his children, Jocelyn Benge and Malachi Simpson. He is also survived by 10 nieces and nephews.
