He was predeceased by: his parents, Pressley Greene and Johnsie Greene; his sons, Michael Franklin Greene and Rodney Edward Greene; and his siblings, Willard Greene, Gary Dean Greene, Richard Greene and Judy Auton.
He is survived by: his wife Sylvia Greene; his children, Donna Davis (Kenny), Rena Mulder (Scott), Christa McLeod (Teddy) and Bradley Greene; and his grandchildren, Joey Greene, Shannon Evenson (Jeff), Louanne Laws (Chris), Mandy Ogborn (Derrick), Leah Greer (Aaron), Lindsay Spears (Brandon), Bethany Blankemeyer (Brad), Gavin Greene, Jadyn McLeod (Landon) and Gavin McLeod. He is also survived by numerous great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Saturday, December 21st 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Setzer's Creek Baptist Church (3163 Warrior Rd, Lenoir, NC 28645). A celebration of life was held on Saturday, December 21st 2024 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
