He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, James McArthur and Brenda Carolyn Childress Saunders; his daughter Holly Saunders of Lenoir; and his siblings, Mark Saunders (Jennifer) of Hudson and Amber Shew (Michael) of Lenoir. He was also cherished by grandchildren.
