He was predeceased by: his parents, Lawrence Allen Bennett and Pauline Everidge Bennett; and his wife Gail Kincaid Bennett. He is survived by: his son Max Lawing (Jennifer); his grandson Tyler Lawing (Faith Coffey); his great grandchild Harley Grace Coffey; and his close friend Kelly Miller.
A masonic service was held on Saturday, November 23rd 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Littlejohn United Methodist Church (4120 Littlejohn Church Rd, Lenoir, NC 28645).
