He was predeceased by: his parents, Lee Grant and Virginia Farmer Tomlinson. He is survived by: his wife Peggy Smith Tomlinson; his children, Troy Tomlinson (Paula) of Boomer, Travis Tomlinson (Caroline) of Randleman and Lori Collins (Kenneth) of Granite Falls; his stepsons, Tim Taylor (Julie) of Tennessee and Jeffrey Taylor (Brenda) of Tennessee; his sister Pixie Belcher of Birmingham, Alabama; and his grandchildren, Julia Partin, Daniel Lynn, Brittany Sturgill, Corey Brewer, Tyler Tomlinson, Davis Tomlinson, Heather Tomlinson, Kristi Stewart and Connor Mash (Brandon Taylor). He is also survived by six great-grandchildren.
