It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Hassie Broyhill Davis of Lenoir, North Carolina, who passed away on June 12, 2021, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Jesse D. Broyhill and Lou Pearson Broyhill; her husband John Henry Davis; her daughter Pam Goins; and her siblings, Raymond, Fred, Jim Broyhill, Ester Crump and Macy Carlton.
She is survived by: her daughters, Gail Sparks (Gerald) of Hudson, Kay Pennell (Sonny) of Lenoir and Penny Moore (Dale) of Lenoir; her sister Fannie Triplett of Wilkes County; and her brother-in-law Joey Goins of Lenoir. She is also survived by seven grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; one great-great granddaughter.
