He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Powell Lawing; his children, Harvey Lawing, Jr. (Yvonne) of Petersburg, VA, Lynn Weller (Jeff) of Asheville, NC, Dennis Lawing (Janice) of Blountstown, FL and Kevin Lawing (Connie) of Granite Falls, NC; his grandchildren, Dustin Coffey, Zac Coffey, Ben Burch, Jake Lawing, Braeden Lawing, Alisha Grove, Juliann Duvall and Cheyenne Lawing; and his great grandchildren, Autumn, Masten and Kai Duvall.
