He is survived by: his wife Nanette Barker; his son Matthew Bumgarner of Lenoir; his granddaughter Lilly Elaine Bumgarner; his siblings, Martha Earp, Joann Clark (Larry), Jerry Barker (Judy), Clarriss Childers, Audrey Eckard (Larry Joe), Charles Barker (Sue) and Daniel Clark (Becky); and his stepfather Clayton Clark.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to Nanette Barker to assist with expenses at 2512 Central Dr. Lenoir, NC 28645.
