He was predeceased by: his parents, Grady Greene and Lonnie Storie Greene; his wife Betty Jo Miller Greene; and his brothers, Jay Greene (Helen), Troy Greene (Marjorie) and Dillard Greene (Peggy).
He is survived by: his children, Grady Harley Greene, Jr. (Barbara Jolley) of Lenoir and Emily Kay Greene of Lenoir; his grandchildren, Shannon Greene Foust (Carlos), Amy Summerlin, Grady Greene, III and Lauren LaCombe (Robbie); his great grandchildren, Scott Presnell, Joseph Woods (Mykala), Alison Woods, Langston LaCombe and Lowe LaCombe; his great great grandchild Natalyn Presnell; his brother Boyd Greene (Cleo) of Lenoir; his sisters-in-law, Mary Greear (Bob) of Greensboro and Carolyn Mueller (Victor) of Texas; and his friend Gracie Rogers of Lenoir.
