He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas H. Dula and Virginia Triplett Dula; his wife Lynn Dula; his siblings, Steve Dula, Lee Roy Dula, Gordon Dula and Barbara Eckard; and his brother-in-law Roger Church.

He is survived by: his son Mark Dula (Iris Whitt); his sisters, Gwendolyn Church and Shirley Hackworth; and his grandchildren, Brandon and Breanna.

Memorial contributions may be made to Caldwell Hospice and Palliative Care (Robbin's Center) at 526 Pine Mountain Rd. Hudson, NC 28638.
