Geneva Ann McCloud Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Geneva Ann McCloud (Lenoir, North Carolina), who passed away on October 25, 2023, at the age of 70, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, James Thomas "JT" and Junie Brown Day; her husband Robert J. McCloud; her siblings, Doris Austin Scruggs, Jeanette Day Hardee, Thomas Edward Austin, James Randy Day, David Eugene Day, Mary Ellen Anderson (Berkley) and Ruby Avery Day; her daughters, Angela "Angie" Avery (Robert) and Doris "Jodylynn" McNeil (Allen); her grandchildren, Victoria Laney Woody (Jon), Joshua Robert Laney (Rose), Mikeala Cassidy Proffit (Ben), Annabell Rose McNeil (Elijah), Devan James McNeil (Emily), Brandon Michael McNeil and Andy Adams; and her great grandchildren, Hunter Lee Woody, Millie Rose Laney, Molly Rhen Laney and Rilyn June Proffit. She was also cherished by nieces, nephews, cousins.

In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully requests that memorials be made to the Celebrate Recovery Program at Miracle Church In Care of Ruby Day, 824 -A Tiffany Place Southwest Lenoir, NC 28645.
