She was predeceased by: her parents, Labe Smith and Webber Smith; and her husband S. Bruce Harris of Lenoir. She is survived by: her siblings, Gilbert, Richard, Don Smith of Morganton, NC and Becky Clark of St Petersburg, FL.; and her sisters-in-law, Nellie Prevette, Metta Brown, Jackie, Caroline and Barbara Harris of Lenoir, NC.

Memorial contributions may be made to Caldwell Hospice & Palliative Care at 902 Kirkwood St. Lenoir NC 28645 and to the library at Lower Creek Baptist Church.
