He was predeceased by: his parents, Newton Columbus McLean, Jr. and Myrtle Margie Story McLean; his wife Eunice Elaine McLean; his daughter Dena Elaine McLean Byrd; and his brother Ned McLean.
He is survived by: his sons, William M. Bumgarner (Brandy) of Lenoir and Lewis H. Bumgarner (Angie) of Lenoir; and his siblings, Roger Dale McLean (Robin) of Kernersville and Linda Sue McLean of Wilkesboro. He is also survived by grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers the family requests memorial contributions may be made to a Humane Society of your choosing.
