Gary Baker Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Gary Baker (Lenoir, North Carolina), who passed away on January 21, 2025 at the age of 81. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the sacred silence of farewell, Gary is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that his light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of his loved ones. And as his memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that Gary's spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Ralph W. Baker and Arthie Mae Greene Baker. He is survived by: his wife Linda Baker; his daughters, Carlene Wilkie (Robbie) of Granite Falls and Jennifer Baker Chang (Michael) of Richmond, VA; his grandchildren, Mindy Coffey (Chad) of Granite Falls, Connor Chang and Spencer Chang of Richmond, VA; his brother Alen Baker (Scottie) of Huntersville, NC; and his pet Teddy.
A funeral service was held on Saturday, January 25th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Union Grove Baptist Church (1808 Union Grove Rd, Lenoir, NC 28645).
