He was predeceased by: his parents, Clyde Pope and Virginia Pope; and his wife Judy Pope. He is survived by: his children, Teresa Pope Bernard (Kevin) and Jason Pope (Jessica). He is also survived by 3 grandchildren; and 5 great-grandchildren.

The family respectfully requests in lieu of flowers, donations be made to Amorem Hospice of Hudson, NC.
