It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Garlen James Laws (Lenoir, North Carolina), who passed away on November 8, 2020, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Rufus Alvie and Lizzie Wyke Laws; his wife Thelma Coffey Laws; and his sisters, Delores Jones of Lenoir and Rachel Livingston of Gamewell.
He is survived by: his children, Randy Laws (Kim) of Lenoir, Kenny Laws (Janette) of Maiden and Brenda Holland of Lenoir; his sister-in-law Vivian Laws of Lenoir; and his grandsons, Mark Holland, Jason Holland, Eric Laws, Noah Laws, Andrew Raynor and Avery Raynor.
