It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Garland Revis Pruette (Lenoir, North Carolina), who passed away on May 2, 2020, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Perry Amos and Flavie Alice Heavner Pruette; and his siblings, Joyce Pruette and Larry Pruette. He is survived by: his wife Delphia Yvonne Hartley Pruette; his daughters, Denee Shipman (Morris) of Boomer, Cynthia Gibbs (Daniel) of Hickory and Rebecca Miller of Hendersonville; and his siblings, Richard Pruette (Betty) of Morganton, Glen Pruette (Joyce) of Vale, Wayne Pruette (Dare) of Lenoir and Retha Hefner (James) of Granite Falls. He is also survived by eight grandchildren, and ten great-grandchildren.

Due to COVID-19 graveside services will be private.
