He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred Reid and Elizabeth Moore Reid; and his sisters, Maggie Boyce, Ruby Howard, Frankie Smith and Annie Reid Stover.
He is survived by: his sisters, Nellie Wellington and Florence Baker; his daughter Cathy Reid; and his grandchildren, Christopher and Pamela Reid. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
