It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Freeda Irene Edwards of Lenoir, North Carolina, born in Macon, North Carolina, who passed away on June 28, 2021, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Oscar Carver and Beula Cabe Carver; and her husband Billy Joe Edwards. She is survived by: her son Billy Michael Edwards (Carolyn); her granddaughter Katie Edwards; and her brother James Carver. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and dear friends.
