It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Freda Jean Chester of Lenoir, North Carolina, who passed away on July 7, 2020, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Freda Jean Chester to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph William Trivette and Annie Belle Trivette; her husband George Robert Chester (GR); her sons, Robert Wayne "Moto" Chester and Barry Eric Chester; and her grandchildren, Melanie Chester, Scott Swanson and Shane Chester.

She is survived by: her children, Billy Chester of Lenoir, Joyce Spears (David) of Gamewell, Barbara Oliver (Garlund) of Lenoir, Debra Archer (Bob) of Denver and Karen Nelson (Willie) of Lenoir. She is also survived by twelve grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.

Memorials may be made to Caldwell Hospice and Palliative Care at 902 Kirkwood Street, Lenoir, NC 28645 or to Whitnel First Baptist Church at 1201 Connelly Springs Road Lenoir, NC 28645.
