He is survived by: his wife Beatrice Patterson Colbert; his children, Freddy William Colbert Jr. (Shawna) of Fayetteville, GA, Angela Regina Colbert of Lenoir and Melinda Ann Colbert of Charlotte; his sisters, Carolyn Ferguson of Lenoir and Kathleen Harper (Johnny) of Morganton; his sister-in-law Della Colbert of Lenoir; and his grandchildren, Ravin Carter, Bethany Colbert and Zoie Colbert. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and extended family.
