He was predeceased by: his parents, Vance Wilcox and Dora Parsons Wilcox; his wife Patricia Ann Wilcox; his daughter Debra Wilcox; his siblings, Edna, Viola, Otis, Grady, Annie Mae and Clyde; and his grandson Bill Berry.

He is survived by: his children, Jerry Wilcox (Jenny), Carolyn Hamby (Terry), Lisa Wilcox (Larry) and Kathy Brawley (Terry); and his siblings, Billy Wilcox, Lee Wilcox, Clifford Wilcox, Hoover Wilcox and Linda Hendrix.
