She was predeceased by: her parents, Leonard Stewart and Mary Nell Phillips; her husband Arnold Columbus Kidd; and her son James Wilson Kidd. She is survived by: her pet Ted; her children, Roger Kidd and Kathy Darnell of Lenoir; her brother Phillips of Hudson; her great grandchild Kayla Chaffin (Oakleigh); her granddaughter Lisa Lee; and her friend Jessica Edwards. She is also survived by five grandchildren, thirteen great grandchildren, seven great-great grandchildren.
A funeral service was held on Friday, April 4th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Liberty Baptist Church (213 Hazel Lee St NW, Lenoir, NC 28645).
