He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank A. Cantelmo, Sr. and Pearl King of Lenoir; and his siblings, Claude Cardwell of Lenoir, Ransom Cardwell of Lenoir, Edith Moore of Lenoir, Christine Jones of Lenoir and Anna Daye of Lenoir.
He is survived by: his wife Lanisse Smith Cantelmo; his son Aaron D. Cantelmo; his daughter-in-law Miranda; his granddaughter Mia; and his stepdaughters, Dani Pennell and Toni Wright. He is also survived by five step-grandchildren.
