She was predeceased by: her parents, Samuel Reid and Rosette Earp Reid; her husband Walter Williams (Coot); her son Gary Williams; and her siblings, Rex Reid, Jones Reid, Bolena Laws and Mae Effler.
She is survived by: her children, Terry Williams (Yoshiko) of Alabama, Hank Williams of Lenoir, Sheila Persinger of Lenoir, Trudy Smith (James) of Lenoir and Deborah Gerberich (Ralph) of New Jersey. She is also survived by thirteen grandchildren, twenty-two great grandchildren and seventeen great-great grandchildren.
