He was predeceased by: his mother Anna Lee Hutchings; and his daughter Misty Dawn Hutchings. He is survived by: his sister Mitzi Hutchings Greene; his wife Olene Hughes Hutchings; his children, Roger Hutchings of Lenoir, NC and Mitzi Hutchings Greene (Randall Greene) of Lenoir; his grandchildren, Christi Hutchings Linton of New Market, Christopher Greene (Sarah Marley Greene) of Lenoir, Scott Greene of Lenoir, Cody Greene of Lenoir and Hollie Greene of Lenoir; and his great grandchildren, Garrison Linton, Gage Linton of New Market Maryland, Tyler Deviney, Mackenzie Deviney, Zoey Greene, Courtlyn Greene, Trevor Fuller and Elijah Cicmil.
Due to COVID-19 a private graveside service will be held at Blue Ridge Memorial Park.
