She was predeceased by: her parents, Earl Patterson and Annie Mae Ferguson Patterson; and her brothers, Willie Wayne Patterson, Fredrick Patterson, Tony Patterson and Gregory Patterson.
She is survived by: her close friend Cecil Hunt of Hickory, NC; her siblings, Ellen Carr (David), Peggy Jones, Shirley Rouson and Monroe Patterson (Robin); her children, Shannon Johnson (Calvin), Kevin Lipford and Shaun Lipford (Cathy); her grandchildren, Porscha Corpening (Lionel), Toia Johnson, Tavian Lipford, Danielle Daigle (Nick) and Echo Lipford; and her great grandchildren, Jabien and Kendyn Corpening. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family and friends.
