It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Eric Blake Flanagan of Lenoir, North Carolina, who passed away on November 24, 2023, at the age of 16, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his father Christopher Alejo of Hickory; and his great-grandparents, Clarice Tarr and Dean Pennington. He is survived by: his mother Wendy Flanagan Gambino of Lenoir; his siblings, Hayden Alejo of Hickory, Heath Alejo of Hickory and Arianna Alejo of Hickory; his aunts, Tricia Edmisten (Jacob) of Lenoir, Laura McGee (Daniel) of LenoirEmily Flanagan and Kristie Nowell (Caleb) of BethlehemKelly Gambino; his uncle Elijah Santos of Reidsville; his grandparents, Eric Flanagan of Lenoir, Pam Flanagan of Lenoir, Cynthia Alejo of Reidsville, Lawrence Gambino Sr. of Autryville, NC and Kenneth McLean (Blanche) of Little River, SC; his great-grandparents, Jean Pennington of Lenoir, Eileen Flanagan of Chambersburg, PA and Emma Robles of Lenoir; his great-uncles and great-aunts, Doug Flanagan of Edgewater, MD, Paul Flanagan (Audrey) of Myrtle Beach, SC, Joel Gonzales of California, Rubel Alejo of Lenoir, Kelly Moreno of Greencastle, PA, Virginia Lopez (Adam) and Jessica Gonzales of Belmont; his cousins, Isaiah McGee, Benjamin McGee, Abigail McGee, Elisha Scott, Olivia Edmisten, Melina Edmisten, Lila Walton and Hallie Shirley; and also Haley Lyon of Hickory.
