It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Elizabeth Laney Laxton (Lenoir, North Carolina), who passed away on January 27, 2025, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, George Laney and Pansy Jones Laney; her husband Garland Laxton; her children, Ricky L. Laxton and Debra Elaine Laxton; and her siblings, Bill Laney and Sue Jaynes.
She is survived by: her niece Laura Gentry (Richard) of Granite Falls, NC; her nephews, Doug Laney (Kathy) of Lenoir, NC and Jonathan Laws of Lenoir, NC; and her close friend Ella Mae Kirby.
A graveside service will be held on Saturday, February 1st 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Blue Ridge Memorial Park (2017 Wilkesboro Blvd, Lenoir, NC 28645).
