She was predeceased by: her parents, Ralph Henry and Annie Horton Patterson; her grandson Deshon Chester; and her siblings, Herman Lee (Billie), Louis, Joe Benny, Evelyn Ruth, Myrtle, Mary Frances, Shirley Banner (Houston), Barbara Jean, Ruth Evelyn (Morris), Mary Louise Harbison (Charlie) and Willie (Katherine).
She is survived by: her sons, Dennis O'Neil and Kyle Alexander Patterson (Jewel); her grandchildren, Tyran Moore, Dennis Chester, Keaun Patterson, Sharmane Dula, Christopher Dula (Tina) and Dahndray Patterson; and her nieces and nephews, Herman "Buddy" Patterson (Emily), Jean Allen and Delores Patterson.
