She was predeceased by: her parents, Clarence Edward Cox and Pearl Jane Hatley Cox; and her siblings, Melissa Lynn Hatley, Jerry Lee Saunders and Clarence Edward Cox, Jr..
She is survived by: her friends, Suzanne and Steve Earp of Lenoir; her sister Dorothy Mae Cox; her nephews, Jerry Lee Hatley, Calvin Dale Harmon and Jerry Hamilton Saunders; and her niece Shelley Faye Saunders.
