Elda Baker Obituary

We are sad to announce that on May 1, 2020, at the age of 98, Elda Baker (Lenoir, North Carolina) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, J. W. Johnson and Geraldine Johnson; her husband Thomas "Fuzz" Baker; and her son Thomas Baker, Jr.. She is survived by: her daughter Candace Baker Poarch; and her grandchildren, Debra Hadley (Roy), Christa Johnson (Sylvester), Darren Poarch, Andrew Baker (Kelly), Caroline Baker and Carrie Bartley. She is also survived by nine great-grandchildren; five great-great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
